Discourse: On Judgment

It has become fashionalbe to say, "We cannot judge (another/ the Other)."

Well, why not? What is the faulty of judgment there for?

Certainly, not to be detroyed. It is here to be put to its good and correct use.

The sense and ability of Judgment is wicked and harmful only in the hands and mind of an uncomprehending, fearful, cowardly, selfish, ignorant, malicious, or otherwise immature and harmful person. In a relatively or fully completed and artful and purposeful human being, the faculty of Judgment, which is able to set a human observer apart from that which is being observed, is put to its correct purpose: achieving detachment from the observed phenomenon while observing, noting,... recording, reiterating and testifying about that which is witnessed. The purpose is to return the matter correctly to the Source while removing bias and prejudice and shades of self-involvement, and to prevent mixing up of the Self with the observed event.

This implies that Jusgment is not evil, it is only deadly in thr hand of the dangerous and stupid human being. It is one of those faculties the correct usage of which and authority over the use of which is granted to a person after much toil of self-observation, correct witnesssing of phenomenon, and the ability to withhold the tendency to falsify things or attempts to bend reality to suit one's self, madness, selfishness or private interests. It is a dangerous and self-harming tool in the hands of the immaturd human, but a requisite for those who have earned the right and authority to employ judgment skills.

The outward manifestation of this faculty, of course, is a (legal) judge, arbitrator, listener and settler of disputes, and resolver of conflicts. A judge is a witness of variable energies, and is responsible for determining thd correct and right place of all events, persons and testimonies, thus clearing the way for Truth that inevitably appears as the result of such removal of falsification and provision of clarity.

And Allah knows even better than anything that occurs to me.

Salaam.
